Tea Anyone?







On Tuesday, we hosted the Monthly Florida Tea at the Porcher House in Historic Cocoa Village. All the ladies enjoyed the monthly event as children played Christmas Carols on their bells. The Red Hatters looked especially wonderful in their purple and red attire. Thank you City of Cocoa Leisure Services for putting on such a quaint event for all of us!

Home Depot Holiday Party









On Sunday December 13, 2009 Renaissance Catering catered a holiday for The Home Depot of Merritt Island . It was our second catered event with the store and it turned out even better than the first. A group of a 130 enjoyed the celebration of Christmas with beautiful decor and each other. The food as always, was top notch and included holiday favorites such as Turkey and Ham and all the fixings. We also added a Roast Beef Carving Station, and the Dessert's were provded by Orleander Bakery in Historic Cocoa Village. A large variety of gourmet cupcakes were on display for all to devore

Dentist Party at the Porcher!







On Saturday we served an office party at the Porcher House! This is my favorite venue, it the place I call home. This Saturday night was different from any others. The historic house was full of life and libations. All the invited guests shared in their desire to party!!! Everything at this event was done to the 10's. Christi Lickart did a beautiful job on the decorations on the grand staircase. From the appitizers to the elegant buffet all had indulged in a culinary feast followed by a scrumptious dessert buffet which included gourmet chocolate chip cookies. The music and drinks kept everyone dancing thru the night.

Vero Beach Holiday Party


















On Friday December 11, 2009 we traveled south to Vero Beach. The venue is called The Bethel Creek House. It is a small venue, but we made the best of a tight situation. The owners of the company went all out with the food and liquor, our staff indulged guest with tray upon tray of appitizers and then we opened our lavish buffet to their delight. I didn't catch the Dj's name, but he had the employees of this AC company jamin. All in all it was a great party.

Christmas is just around the corner. On Tuesday December 8, 2009 we had the pleasure of hosting the annual holiday party for the Brevard County Bridal Association. The party has a dual purpose , as members of this well respected organization we were proud to welcome in our new President ( Susan from the Wedding Belles) and let off a little steam with friends and colleges. To all members we would like to say Thank You for trusting us with such an important event. I would like to extend a special thank you to City of Cocoa Liesure Services who Co-Hosted the event at the Historic Porcher House in Cocoa Village

Holiday Party at Comfort Inn Cocoa Beach























On Saturday December 5, 2009 Renaissance Catering catered a Christmas Party at a beautiful ballroom located in the Comfort Inn Hotel and Suites located on Cocoa Beach. The party was being held for the NASA Exchange Group. The event was decked out with holiday decor and guests enjoyed a lovely buffet.

On Friday December 4, 2009 we catered a heck of a Christmas Party at the beautiful venue located in the Cocoa Beach Country Club. Over 200 party goers drank, ate and danced the night away. We would like to thank the host of the party Chuck Smallwood who worked with our staff on the planning of such a large event

Party at the Porcher House

On November 21,2009 Renaissance Catering catered a beautiful wedding at the historic Porcher House in Historic Cococa Village. After a beautiful ceremony on the front porch , guests retired to the rear patio for drinks and appitizers. Our staff served a lovely buffet dinner in the old house afterwards the partiers continued dancing into the late hours of the night.

Last night Renaissance Catering served a Civilian / Military Dinner at the Comfort Inn Suites 3901 N. Atlantic Avenue on beautiful Cocoa Beach, Fl. We featured our signature Pork Loin Carving Station. We also tried something new, Strawberry Shortcake, which got good reviews.
It felt good to serve those who sacrafice for us!

Florida Tea

The City of Cocoa hosts the Florida Tea once a month and today November 17, 2009 was the day. Renaissance Catering provided the Ladies a variety of teas and coffee along with a delicious Italian Buffet. Rosa and Chef Anthony along with Brittney from Lesiure Services 434 Delannoy Ave hosted and served guest who came from as far away as Pennslyvannia to partake of the Salads , finger sandwhiches and hot buffet entrees. Chef Anthony had Cherry Turnovers and Cake for dessert

Sunday, November 15, 2009. Front Street Civic Center was the venue which our Bride and Groom
Chose for their wedding and reception. The weather and ceremony were perfect. They exchanged their vows at 5:30 as the sun began to set a new life together was about to begin for this couple of engineers. We all enjoyed the music stylings of Sophisticated Gents DJs . Fredrick the Entertainer was on hand to liven up the party with his party skills. All I can say is WHAT A PARTY!!!!!! Everything was spectacular.

On November 14, Renaissance Catering catered a beautiful wedding at the Porcher House in Cocoa Village located at 434 Delannoy Ave. The Bride And Groom got married on the beautiful front porch with its elegant garden as a back drop. We then moved the guests to the rear patio where drinks were being served by Mike's Bartending Service. The Photography was professionally done by Sterling Photography located at 1223 N. Mills Ave in Orlano, Fla.

The Cocoa Civic Center was the Venue Renaissance Catering was working at on Friday November 6, 2009. The Civic Center is located at 436 Delannoy Avenue in Historic Cocoa Village. The Master of Ceremony was Latin LOU of Dj Shane Entertainment. Lou had the party jumping while Vivian Bonsal of Bonsal Photography recorded the event for future memories. Our staff butler passed appitizers while guests mingled. The buffet included a fantastic Prime Rib which was the talk of the party

















On Sunday November 1, 2009 Renaissance Catering Catered an event at the Cocoa Civic Center. It was named Aromas of Isreal. Chef Anthony Elias out did himself! From the traditional matzaball soup to the cremy hummus it was enjoyed by all who attended Folkloric Dancers entertained the crowd of nearly 300 guests which included the Mayor of Cocoa Mike Blake. Starbucks provided the Coffee and Renaissance Catering finished the night with baklava and rugalah.






















On Tuesday, We had our monthly Florida which is held on the third Tuesday of each month at the historic Porcher House. The house has a turn of the century charm and full of history. It is located at 434 Delannoy Ave in Cocoa Village.

Great Bridal Show!!!1


















Sunday October 16,2009 Renaissance Catering attended a bridal hosted by the BCBA (Brevard County Bridal Association). The event took place in the lovely ballroom at the Holiday Inn located at 8298 N Wickham Road in Viera, Florida. As members of the oldest bridal association in Brevard County we had a vendors booth and were able to greet and meet over 159 Brides to be. We offered a show special that included a Surf and Turf Platted Dinner for the ridiculous low price of $29.95. Our surf and turf includes a petit filet mignon with four large shrimp and two sides. The show was a great success for us! We had a great time and were enterained by the Djs of Celebrations Djs. On October 10,2009 Renaissance catered two spectacular events at the Cocoa Civic Center and The Historic Porcher. Both halls were decked and the parties were jamin well into the night.The Djs from Sophisticated Gents had everyone moving to the rythm on a hot night behind the Porcher House 434 Delannoy Ave. Meanwhile the young but capable Mix Master belted out international tunes. The buffets at both events were excellent. The choices were of international menus. From Stuffed Grape Leaves to Italian Cuisine.

October Fest!!!!



















On Saturday October 10,2009 Renaissance Catering and Michele Di Pimenta planed and executed an elegant wedding at the lovely and quaint all at Indian Harbour Beach. The venue is located in Gleason Park. The exact address is Indian Harbour Civic Center 1233 Yacht Club Boulevard. We provided round tables, chair covers with Rust Accents, and Gold Charger Plates.
The buffet was delcious, the Pork Loin was the talk of the party. Our selections included vegetarian dishes for vegans who attended the festivities.

What a Week!


















On friday October 9,2009 Renaissance Catering Catered a one year anniversary which was totally decked out like a full blown wedding! The chair covers with charcoal sashes glowed in the candle light which brought a beautiful warm feeling to the Porcher House 434 Delannoy Ave Cocoa Village. The Silver Charger Plates made the table decor pop as the wait staff preformed their task at the buffet. All in all it was another succesfull evening for RenaissanceCatering. We bring elegance to any party.

Busy Week For Renaissance


We had a great weekend, our staff did a great job covering two excellent weddings! The first one was held at Gleason Park, Indian Harbour Civic Center. Eric and Kara's wedding was spectacular Dj Mike had everybody rocking. The Bartenders had everyone in a good mood with tropical drinks and Dirty Martinis. Cherished Reflections Photography(321-720-0286) recoded the special occassion for for all to share! Publix provided a lovely cake that was delicious with fresh strawberries and cream filling. My hat goes off to Rosa our event coordinatior with her lovely decorations, Chaircovers and Sashes provided by Connie Douglan Linens out of Orlando.

The Second Beautiful Wedding was held at the Fabulous Cocoa Civic Center at 434 Delannoy Ave in Historic Cocoa Village. The wedding ceremony was held at River Front park. Sophisticated Gents Djs were the Maters of Ceremonies. Frederic the Enterainer Jammed on the One and Two's all night long. The lights set the mood for the guestto get their grrove on. Kelly the bartender got everyone cooled down with concoctions like Mai-Thais, Margaritas and My Favorite Mojitos. The Photos were taken by BrianMark Studios ( 321-536-4009). Publix also made Aaron and Cythia's Cake. The festive Carribean Decor brougt out a fun side of the Cocoa Civic Center

Party at The Porcher























On Saturday we prepared a wonderful reception at the Porcher Hoouse 434 Delannoy Ave in Historic Cocoa Village. The guests traveled from as far away as Australia to attend this fun packed party. Theresa Kibler , mother of the bride expressed how wonderful everything had turned out.
Dj Shane had the killer sounds pumping in this historic venue. My hat goes off to the students of Cocoa Senior Highschool Culinary Program who did an excellent job with the cake

The Tyree/Sanford Wedding was held on Saturday September 19, 2009 at the spacious venu at the Comfort Inn Cocoa Beach. The decor included pink gerberas with whole coffee beans which gave a rich aroma to the hall. Renaissance Catering set up a breathe taking appitizer display. The buffet included our signature Roast Beef among other delisious items. We all were dancing and moving to the beats provided by Dj Tunes. Roger had everyone jaming on the floor

On Friday September 18,2009 Renaissance Catering catered a lovely wedding at Front Street Civic Center in Melbourne, Florida. The buffet included delicious items such as Chicken Marsala and Rosemary Potatoes. The blushing bride Alisha and fun loving husband Mike danced the night away with family and friends to thumping sounds of Sophisticated Gents Djs. The Master of Cermony was Frederick the Entertainer. WE HAD A BLAST!!!!

Harry and Barbara













On Sunday September 6, 2009 we catered a beautiful wedding at the Porcher House in historic Cocoa Village. Harry and Barbara were looking sharp on their wedding day! After a a wonderful ceremony Renaissance Catering provided cocktails and appittizers to guests while the couple posed for photos. After devoring imported cheeses, jumbo shrimp, mediterianian dips and carribean conch fritters we all moved the party to the reception phase. The reception was held right next door at the Cocoa Civic Center. Guests were treated to an open bar, a deluxe buffet featuring a huge Round of Beef and after that inulged in our signature chocolate fountain. On behalf of all of our staff congratulations Harry and Barb!
